It is designed for trapping, sedimentation, removal of hard sludge, containing in industrial wastewaters and process fluids and used in domestic-, industrial- and storm wastewaters treatment plants as well as in technological processes of different industries.
Sand separator “SP” consists of a tank, combined with a conveyer screw. The housing of the separator is manufactured of stainless steel. There are inlet and exit pipes and a pipe connection for emergency discharge in the settling tank. The screw sets the gear motor in motion.

How it works
Technology of the plant‘s operation
Initial water, consisting natural impurities, is supplied to the separator’s operational part through the inlet pipe. Under the force of gravity, there is a separation of the solid and liquid phases of the treated effluent. The sludge accumulates in the lower part of the separator. Unloading of the sludge is carried out with a screw conveyer. In the rotational motion of the conveyer flight, the sludge comes up the gutter und is supplied to the discharge through the unloading pipe.
