It is designed for treatment of the wastewaters contaminated with petroleum products, mechanical impurities, surface active agents and formed from the vehicles and garage and car service centers’ equipment washing.
Treated water is recyclable in the high-pressure vessels, that allows to spare up to 80% of water and reduces detergents consumption.
Wastewaters are treated by usage of the combined, reagentless technology, including mechanical, electrochemical and physical-chemical treatment.
Technology of the plant’s operation
Effluents after vehicles washing come into the settling tank (existing one or in the scope of the delivery), where occurs primary sedimentation of coarse mechanical impurities and interception of oil products volley discharges. The effluents are supplied with a submersible pump from the settler to the module-electroreactor for treatment, where under the influence of a constant electric current, supplied to aluminum electrodes, comes the process of hydrolysis with release of aluminium ions. It ensures the coagulation process of micro-and colloidal particles of solid impurities as well as emulsified particles of oil products.
Thereafter water comes downward in the clarifying chamber, where suspended impurities enlarge and sediment by gravity. The sediment accumulates in the bottom conical part of the clarifier and is periodically removed. From the clarifier water comes to the filter module with the floating filtering load. The filtering load is regenerated through backwashing with a downward reserve water stream in the above-filter area. Flushing water is diverted to the settling tank.
Treated wastewater comes in the clean water reservoir, from where it is supplied for reuse under hydrostatic pressure or with a booster pump. The system’s replenishment with fresh water from the water line occurs at the final stage of cars washing.
