The plant is designed for treatment of artesian wells water from iron, manganese, colority and turbidity and bringing of these indicators to the specified requirements. The plant is based on the pressure filters «Crystall-N».
All technological equipment is placed in carcass insulated containers. Depending on the capacity of the plant, the equipment can be placed in one or in several containers, which are connected to one another at the facility on the principle of a modular system.
Containerized design enables a maximum reduction in the building works at the facility: only the preparation of understructure, connection of piping and electrical supply are required.
Technology of the plant’s work
Feed water from artesian wells is preliminary saturated with air oxygen by means of a water-air ejector or a dynamical mixer before reaching the filter-module “Crystall-N”. In water-conducting schemes without a possibility to use an ejector the oxygen supply is carried out with an oil-free compressor. Hereafter the saturated with oxygen feed water comes to the pressure filter, in the filter’s bed occurs bioextraction and removal iron and manganese compounds, turbidity and colority from water. Filtration occurs vertical down. Quartz sand of fraction 1-2 mm is used as the load. Usage of other kinds of load (activated carbon, ceramsite etc.) is possible if reasoned. The load’s flushing is carried out with cleaned water bottom-upwards. Water is carried over into the distributing (drainage) system, equally distributed through the filter area and rises through the load with such intensity, that the load becomes a suspension. Separate grains are in continuous contact and as result, the stuck to them impurities are removed from the filter with a flushing water current.

2. “Crystall-NK-R” – cleaned water is supplied to the clean water reservoirs
3. “Crystall-NK-S” – cleaned water is supplied to the water-intake network (to the consumer)
