Modernization of the water treatment plant with the increase of capacity

The project for the water treatment facilities modernization was implemented under the program «Clean water». The output of the water treatment plant amounted to 2000 m3/day after modernization. The governor of the Vologda region Oleg Kuvshinnikov conducted the start-up of the water treatment facility and water treatment quality control.

Feed water from the well did not correspond to SanPin norms and had significant exceedances on such indicators as iron, turbidity, hardness, dry residual and sulfates.

For water treatment from increased dissolved iron was implemented the non-pressure block-modular water treatment plant «Crystall -B» with advanced treatment by means of the membrane technologies (reverse osmosis unit).

The water treatment plant provides clean water to about 4000 inhabitants of the city Kharovsk and works in automatic mode without the constant presence of maintenance staff.
