MUP VKKh Oryolvodokanal – Non-pressure block-modular water treatment plant Crystall-B
In May 2016, an extensive work on the delivery of the technological equipment and putting it into operation was completed at the facility "Modernization of the water supply system (deironing station) in the town of Oryol" – non-pressure block-modular water treatment plant Crystall-B with a capacity of 75000 m3/day manufactured by UP Polymerconstruction.
This facility was put into operation by the 450thanniversary of the town of Oryol and almost immediately after facility commissioning, town residents assessed the improved quality of the drinking water (high iron concentration decreased to SanPin standards). For a year and a half, there have been no criticisms of the equipment operation, failure episodes have not been recorded.
The basis of the technology is a non-chemical method of artesian water treatment. The use of this technology has allowed to minimize operating costs for water treatment plant maintenance due to small amount of wash water, low power consumption and full automation of the technological process.
